At ApexonSport, We’ve replaced traditional cold-pressing with high-heat fusion. By bonding the carbon face directly to the core, we create a seamless, solid-body paddle built for maximum power and long-term durability.
The Result: Zero dead spots, extended durability, and a stiffer feel for maximum power transfer.

At ApexonSport, we don’t believe in shortcuts. Unlike standard cold-pressing, we use controlled heat and pressure to fuse the carbon fiber and honeycomb core into one solid unibody. This is how we ensure your brand gets a paddle that won’t snap or lose its pop.
1. Precision Material Cutting. We start by CNC-cutting premium carbon fiber (T700/T800 Carbon) and specialized fabrics( Kevlar, Titanium) to exact dimensions. This ensures every piece fits perfectly before assembly—there is no room for error.
2. Manual Layup & Pre-forming. Our technicians follow strict internal guidelines to layer carbon sheets at specific angles. We bond and compact these materials manually to create a solid “pre-form,” ensuring the core is stable and perfectly aligned from the start.
3. Mold Prep & Thermoforming. Every cycle begins with a deep-clean of the molds to ensure no impurities affect the surface. Once the pre-form is loaded, ApexonSport executes the fusion at 185°C for a full 35 minutes. To produce premium heat pressed paddles, we ensure the resin fully permeates the core for a truly indestructible Unibody structure.
Note: We take more time than the industry average because it’s the only way to guarantee the resin fully permeates the core, creating a truly indestructible Unibody structure that won’t lose its pop.
4. Deflashing & Sandblasting. Post-molding, we manually trim resin flash and sandblast the surface. This roughens the face to ensure maximum adhesion for the final coating layers.
5. Multi-Layer Base Coating. We apply a base primer followed by a mid-coat. Between each application, the paddle undergoes baking, resting, and fine-grit grinding to create a perfectly smooth, non-porous foundation.
6. Top Coat & Polishing We use ultra-fine polishing before applying the final custom color. This results in a clean, professional finish that stands out on the shelf and holds up on the court.
7. Process QC & BOM Check. Before assembly, our QC team verifies every paddle’s structural integrity and appearance. We strictly verify the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate component matching for every custom order.
8. Final Assembly & Delivery Technicians apply logos, install the butt cap, and hand-wrap the grip. A Final Outgoing Inspection ensures zero defects before the paddle is packed and shipped to your warehouse.

Started with solid wood. Basic cutting and layering. No longer in the mainstream professional market
Introduced the polymer honeycomb (PP) core with fiberglass/carbon face. Classic “sandwich” build offering a soft feel. Perfect for entry-level markets but lacks offensive power
✅ Recommended Best-Seller
Features a single-piece thermoformed molding. Foam-injected edges enhance durability, expand the sweet spot, and dampen vibration. The most stable and popular choice for the mainstream market.
Enhances design with TFP (Thermoformed Paddle) technology. High-density foam is injected into the handle and edges. Delivers higher power and precise control. An advanced option for competitive players.

We needed a supplier who could offer high-end features like carbon fiber thermoformed pickleball paddle faces without the premium price tag. ApexonSport hit the sweet spot. Our customers get a premium paddle at a great price. These are flying off the shelves.

We’ve carried several pickleball brands, but the defect rate with ApexonSport is practically zero. The craftsmanship is obvious. Our customers trust the brand, which makes our job easy. Highly recommend them as a manufacturing partner.
Our FAQ section is dedicated to answering the most common questions from retailers, distributors, and brands. Find clear, straightforward answers and valuable insights to help you streamline your procurement and succeed in the competitive pickleball market.
Thermoforming uses high heat and pressure to fully bond the carbon fiber (or other surface materials) with resin, creating a dense and solid structure.
While cold-pressed paddles are easier to manufacture, the cutting process can affect the integrity of the fiber layers.
Additionally, the separate core and edge guards make these paddles less rigid, which is why they are better suited for entry-level or casual play.
Surface Texture: Thermoformed paddles undergo multiple coating treatments, resulting in a uniform, grainy “frosted” finish that feels delicate and offers excellent anti-slip performance. In contrast, cold-pressed paddles often retain a non-woven fabric texture, leading to a rougher surface and a noticeably different touch.
Edge Finishing: Thermoformed paddles reinforce their edges with a grit-sprayed finish, showing a seamless appearance without visible joints. Cold-pressed paddles typically use TPU/PVC edge guards, which show clear seams and a visible layered structure between the honeycomb core and the edge guard on the side.
Absolutely not. We solved this industry-wide issue by optimizing our thermal cycle. While standard factories press for 15 minutes, we extend our heat cycle to 35 minutes at 180°C. This ensures the resin fully bonds with the core, creating a true, indestructible Unibody structure that won’t peel or crush over time.
It’s a game-changer. By injecting high-density foam into the perimeter, we do two things:
Expand the Sweet Spot: You get consistent power even on off-center hits.
Dampen Vibration: It absorbs shock, giving the paddle a solid, plush feel despite its immense power. It’s the perfect balance of “pop” and control.
Yes, we encourage it. Since we are the source factory, our R&D team can help you design a proprietary mold shape to differentiate your brand. From CAD drawing to the first prototype, the process typically takes just 15-20 days.
It’s a high-temperature molding process that forms the paddle into a single, seamless piece. This makes the paddle more durable, stable, and less prone to separation.
Our standard MOQ is 100 units per order.
